Frog-eating reptiles are guarding rivers and swift rapids which our green friend has to negotiate, with the assistance of game players, of course.  In addition, when Froggers are riding on turtles that are supposed to take them to their lily pad homes, these turtles may suddenly disappear or submerge below water surface, thus exposing Frogger to the hungry alligators waiting nearby.
