From where Frogger starts (bottom of screen), your goal is to guide Frogger to the other side (top of screen) with out dying. The things that will kill Frogger are the vehicles and other moving obstacles.
For the most part there is always a river near the end of the level. You cannot go into the water as Frogger will die. Instead you must manoeuvre your way across the river by hopping onto logs and lillies and various other floating objects. This is done by just press up on the keyboard and frogger will move onto the floating object.
Frogger must be navigate to the part of the grassy area (seen at top) where there is a fly for him to eat. You only get 3 lives and there is a time limit for each level. As you complete each level the hazards increase, traffic gets faster, floating objects lessen and basically anything else that will make it harder for poor Frogger to get across.
