The Story Of Frogger
Frogger woke up one day and found himself stuck on the other side of the road! He really wanted to get back home but there were many many dangerous things in his path – cars, roads and crocodiles! But Frogger also had friends – friendly turtles and big logs to jump on to help him get home. But he needs your help. If you want to have fun helping him download the frogger game today for free.
Playing Frogger
Once downloaded, you can play frogger whenever you want. Frogger starts on one side of the road and you must help him get to the other side and across the river, as quickly as possible. To move frogger, use the arrow keys on your keyboard. Pressing an arrow moves frogger one space in that particular direction. Remember, you must move quickly but carefully to avoid the cars. There are several different types of cars so don’t get confused. Avoid all vehicles – even the trucks!
Once you have helped frogger cross the road, it’s time to help frogger reach the other side of the river. You must be careful here to not fall into the river. If frogger does fall into the river, he loses a life and must start again on the other side of the road. To get to the other side of the river, use the logs as stepping stones. Remember though, the logs are always moving and logs in different “rows” move in different directions too. Some logs also disappear randomly so stay focused. You will see the log start to disappear and you must move to a new log when that happens. There are also alligators on the river. You can use these alligators as stepping stones too but these always disappear at random moments so be careful! Once you have crossed the river, remember to make sure frogger lands on land rather than the poison bush. Landing on the poison will mean frogger loses a life and must start again.
Your points for each “round” are determined by how long it took you to help frogger get across both the road and the river. The shorter the amount of time, the more points you will be awarded so try and complete each round in the shortest amount of time possible. Sometimes, you will see “bonus frogs”. If frogger catches one of these bonus frogs, final points will be doubled further increasing your score. The more points you get, the harder the game gets as the levels also increase. Cars, logs and alligators move and disappear faster to ensure frogger finds it harder and harder to cross. Finally, there’s a frogger secret that not many people have found. If you finish the game, by successfully completing all the levels, there is a surprise at the end. We’ll let you discover that yourself.
